There are a huge number of blog posts and other search driven articles vying for your clicks on the now common search terms "Sweatcoin scam" and "Is Sweatcoin legit". I would like to explain why and give my impression of both questions and answers while continuing to "test the app", a test that has gone on for the last 3+ years as of June 2021. As you may have seen, the reviews you find are based on either first impression or 30 days. 

The Sweatcoin reviews swing from AMAZING to TOTAL SCAM. Why?

Short answer: Many of the reviewers have never really used the Sweatcoin App or researched Sweatco, the company behind Sweatcoin. The posts are written and professionally shared to get your clicks (kinda like a scam). Most negative reactions claiming the Sweatcoin scam will lead you to pages that advertise Sweatcoin competitors or other fitness money-making apps. Most positive reviews will screaming Sweatcoin is legit are offering referral links to install the Sweatcoin App (this site participates in the Sweatcoin affiliate program). This is the actually the business model of many of the most popular review sites and scam research sites online. 

How much money has Sweatcoin scammed from me after 3 years of use?

I have never sent Sweatcoin a dollar of fiat currency ever. The only money the app has cost me was $7 shipping (USD) on a pair of wireless headphones purchased with sweatcoins, retail price of the headphones are $129. This was the only physical product out of 4 that I bought with Sweatcoin that charged me anything in dollars.

The Sweatcoin Scam is the data.

Actually, the data is the business model. You are made aware of data collection, no one at the company is hiding that data is collected (it is encrypted and anonymous). One may choose not to use Sweatcoin because of data privacy concerns and while perhaps a little paranoid, it's a legit choice but definitely does not make the app a scam. 

The Money behind Sweatcoin is legit

Anyone can get scammed, Enron and Madoff were backed by some of the smartest people in the world and they were scammed. The Venture Capital firms that have invested millions in to Sweatcoin have done the due diligence that's good enough for me. Sweatco has raised over 2 million dollars, they are not working out of moms basement. While no guarantee of legitimacy, it puts me at ease knowing they have money to lose.

Products Ordered from Sweatcoin App 

From 2018 through June of 2021, I have ordered 4 physical products from the Sweatcoin marketplace. As mentioned above, one of the 4 cost me $7, any other expense was covered in Sweatcoin. These products included BlueTooth Wireless headphones, a Gravity Blanket (cool product no link or code handy but great item), decent Sunglasses (had 6-7 styles to choose from) and a pair of CZ earrings for my niece (definitely not wife gift quality but for a tween, perfect). All products received in a timely manner with 3 of 4 better than expected. 

Sweatcoin Influencer affiliate program Scam or Legit

While it may not be easy, I can tell you with 1000% certainty that the affiliate program offered by Sweatco is not only legitimate, it is 100% amazing. The App has proven to be legit, as well as the affiliate program. These two items have been verified and rewards have been received in a timely manner.

The Sweatcoin App Scam is in the bogus reviews working for your clicks not to inform you properly.
Search results are littered with bogus reviews, my advice would be for Sweatco to add a webpage with "review" or "scam or legit" in the title and the page text a couple times. The authority their page has will instantly knock some of these lame articles down off the front page.
