What can I do with my SWEAT?

At the Token Generation Event (summer 2022) we will match your sweatcoin  balance with SWEAT. You will not lose your sweatcoins in this.  After the TGE, you will create SWEAT with your first 5,000 steps, and  earn sweatcoin for the next 5,000. At this stage, you will not be able  to exchange the sweatcoins you have earned in the extra 5,000 steps a  day with SWEAT.  At some point, an exchange will be available.

With the Sweatcoin App, you earn for the first 10,000 steps in a day. If  you opt in to crypto, the first 5,000 steps are converted into SWEAT,  and the next 5,000 steps you take will create sweatcoins.   We chose the overall limit of 10,000 because we want to promote healthy  habits –  while we want people to get moving, we do not want them to  move too much. We chose 5,000 steps as the limit for SWEAT to maintain a  healthy ecosystem in which both SWEAT and Sweatcoin can flourish.

The claim of the Token Generation Event is such that: 1 sweatcoin equals  1 SWEAT. In practice, this means you can effectively create a SWEAT  with 1,000 steps. However, after the Token Generation Event, each SWEAT  will require more movement. So get moving!

This is not something we can decide. The purpose of creating a  cryptocurrency is to make it open to be used by many people, in many  different ways. An open market means that the Sweat Foundation do not  determine the price of the token.
